Our D1M had a break over the weekend and nervously awaited other results to come through to see if their finals chances stay alive. After a full on schedule in the beginning of the season, their bye this round meant that most other teams have played just as many games, and they sit in the Top 8 of the league with a 9-11 record.

While the men had a break the women had a tough ask, making the trip to Warrnambool on Saturday night, and missing a night out in the Bool' to come back and face Blackburn on Sunday. They split the weekend with a tough loss against Warrny, and a convincing win over Blackburn. Unfortunately due to other results around the league, finals are well and truly out of reach for our Lady Angels. Big Thank You to Justin Turnley for organising a Ford Transit bus for the women to safely travel to Warrnambool and back.
