Alas, the Big V season is done and dusted. Both our teams finished on a high but only the men will advance to finals, finishing fourth in their conference.

The women finished fifth on the Divison Two Women ladder, just missing out on a finals campaign where they hoped to go one further than last season and make the Grand Final. They pushed both 1st and 2nd place getters Werribee and Southern Pen during the season. They conceded the least points out of the 11 teams making our Black Angels the best defensive team in the league.

After a slow start to the season the men have brought it altogether, stringing together some important wins to push them into the Division One Men finals. Their first final is this Saturday evening against Hawthorn Magic, a win will see them advance to the the next round. Check out the event details on Facebook.
