We hope this message finds you well. As we kick off the new year, we invite you to sign up for membership with Melbourne University Basketball Club (MUBC) and enjoy the many benefits of being part of our vibrant basketball community. These benefits include Saturday morning training sessions, invitations to tournaments, discounted gym membership at UoM, and much more! <h1 style="margin-left: -.25pt;">SUNDAY DOMESTIC TEAM REGISTRATION

We are excited to announce that registration for the Sunday night domestic competition is now open. If you're interested in playing, please visit this link to

If you're a new member, you'll also need to purchase the compulsory game uniform priced at $70 for the set. The first round of the season starts on May 7th, and the Grand Final is scheduled for September 24th.
 
<h1 style="margin-left: -.25pt;">TRYOUTS 
</h1>
During the upcoming weeks, we will conduct our tryout sessions. To qualify for team placement, you need to participate in at least two of the training sessions listed below and introduce yourself to the coaches. During this interaction, a photo of you will be taken to aid in team selection. Should we be unable to assign you to a team, we will reimburse your team registration fee.

<h1 style="margin-left: -.25pt;">EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: WEEKDAY COMPETITIONS

In addition, we are exploring the possibility of participating in Tuesday or Thursday competitions. If you're interested in playing on these nights, please register your Expression of Interest in the respective links below. This will help us gauge the level of interest and determine if we can form teams for these competitions. The cost will range between $180 - $220 for the season.

<h1 style="margin-left: -.25pt;">ANNUAL BASKETBALL VICTORIA REGISTRATION 
</h1>
Please note that Basketball Victoria collects a fee of $43 to provide a basic level of insurance to all registered participants, regardless of how many competitions you join in Victoria.
 
 
<h1 style="margin: 0cm 4.45pt 12.9pt -.25pt;">FEE SUMMARY &amp; DISTRIBUTION 
</h1>
•  MUBC Membership = $80 or $155 (distributed to MUBC)
•  Uniform set = $70 (distributed to MUBC)
•  Sunday Team registration = $180 (distributed to the competition organisers)
•  Annual Basketball Victoria registration = $43 (distributed to Basketball Victoria)
<h1 style="margin-left: -.25pt;">FORFEITS 
</h1>
We want to remind you that if you sign up to play for a team, you are committed to your team for the season. In the unfortunate event that your team forfeits, MUBC will incur a forfeit fee from the competition which is roughly $100. Each team member is required to contribute $10 towards the fine, therefore, the contribution per player rarely covers the actual cost to the club.
 
Finally, please note that your MUBC membership must be up-to-date to participate in our training sessions or any of the competitions above. So, take action now - ensure your membership is current!
